Alex Leybov is the Senior Vice President, CMBS in Arbor’s New York, NY, office. Mr. Leybov reports to John Caulfield, Chief Operating Officer and Gene Kilgore, Executive Vice President, Structured Securitization.
With 12 years of commercial real estate experience, Mr. Leybov is responsible for the expansion of Arbor’s CMBS business line and also managing Arbor’s bridge loan production and pipeline for its national originations team.
He most recently was a part of the CMBS Conduit Origination Team within Credit Suisse’s Commercial Real Estate Group. During his time with Credit Suisse, he oversaw a national origination network comprised of institutional, correspondent and mortgage banking relationships. Prior to Credit Suisse, he helped launch and grow the CMBS group at The Bancorp Bank. Prior to joining The Bancorp Bank in 2012, Mr. Leybov spent 6 years with RAIT Financial Trust, where, prior to, during, and following the economic downturn, he helped to shape and grow a variety of business lines in the commercial real estate and securitization arenas.
Mr. Leybov graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major in Economics and Psychology from the University of Rochester.
