David Peterson is responsible for structuring the underwriting and financing of Federal Housing Administration (FHA) transactions to strike the right balance between feasibility and risk. He also ensures full compliance with FHA’s multifamily accelerated processing
(MAP) and leveraging, efficiency, and accuracy nationwide (LEAN) guidelines and oversees the underwriting of multifamily and healthcare FHA mortgage insurance applications.
Mr. Peterson joined Arbor in 2013 as an FHA analyst and advanced through the ranks before becoming SVP, FHA Deputy Chief Underwriter in 2026. Prior to Arbor, he was an analyst at Great Lakes Financial Group in the front-end and screening side of the business.
Mr. Peterson received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Kent State University.
