Brian Blue oversees Arbor’s FHA Multifamily lending operations, ensuring effective deal management, deal process refinement and transaction due diligence across the firm’s FHA portfolio.
Mr. Blue is an accomplished commercial real estate finance professional with over two decades of experience in asset management and underwriting of both affordable and market-rate multifamily housing utilizing Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Structured Finance executions. He will play a key role in overseeing the scalability of Arbor’s FHA platform to support increased loan volume.
Prior to joining Arbor in 2021, Mr. Blue served as Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriter at R4 Capital and R4 Capital Funding, where he oversaw the firm’s underwriting group, including due diligence, credit evaluation and risk management for the LIHTC and tax-exempt bond financing business lines. Additionally, he previously served as Senior Asset Manager at Recap Real Estate Advisors and Vice President of Asset Management at a Boston-based structured finance firm. Mr. Blue spent the beginning of his real estate career at Arbor as an Analyst and, eventually, an Asset Manager.
Mr. Blue received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with minors in Economics and History from Bucknell University.
